Mold Advanced Regeneration System

MARS is a revolutionary solution developed and patented by BICARjet for the regeneration of tire molds.

MARS bicarbonate cleaning system allows to regenerate the surface of the molds, effectively removing any presence of residual material generated during the production of the tires, from the toughest compounds up to the Teflon or similar coatings, restoring the mold its original surface.

How it works?

It’s an equipment composed by a cabinet where inside is installed a manual blasting system using compressed air, sodium bicarbonate and water.

The water once per day is recycled though an external filtering system after the sodium bicarbonate separation. The waste water filtration allows to obtain an almost zero water consumption, as well as a small solid waste.

The specific sodium bicarbonate used in MARS® process has been studied to guarantee maximum efficacy in cleaning.

MOLD SURFACE INTEGRITY

MARS® system acts delicately on the molds, not altering their conformation or the peculiarities of the surface. It is proved by a study of Trento University.

SODIUM BICARBONATE CLENAING SYSTEM

MARS SYSTEM in an innovative recirculation solution: it uses a supersaturated mixture of sodium bicarbonate which is continuously projected in recirculation by exploiting the mechanical cleaning capacity of the sodium bicarbonate, enhanced by pressure, thus reducing over 70% of the waste and annual product consumption.

During the projection the mixture of water and bicarbonate is constantly filtered by an external tank in order to be reused.

Totally made with components made in Italy in AISI 304 stainless steel and designed to ensurewide visibility both for the width of the glass and for its brightness, MARS system is equipped with comfort gloves and nozzle with ergonomic protective rubber grip.

The wet recirculation system does not need a drain or a suction chimney.

The Three Step Process

Bicarbonate Blast Cleaning

Ultrasound Cleaning

After the sodium bicarbonate cleaning and a first rinsing action, the molds are treated into hot demineralized bathes using ultrasound. This way any residue of sodium bicarbonate is removed from any hole, opening and angle.

Spring Vents Unlocking

At a third step an operator unblocks manually definitively all the spring vents on the mold using a second gentle mechanical stress with ultrasound. In case of unblocking, the spring vent can be replaced at the same section.
